Swing dancers were invented to entertain people in Swing era. It is not only lindy hop, but also charleston, big apple and many other dances that look just as impressive. We offer professional performances for different kinds of events (for any ages!). To book our performance troupe please contact leru.dance(a)gmail.com or 15901226159 two week before the performance. Swing Beijing Performance Troupe is a group of ten swing dancers from different countries. We are the original and only swing performance group in China. If you would like to provide something new and exciting for your event then we would be happy to perform for you. Swing is good for all ages and all events, from children’s events to evening champagne parties. The group performs all manner of dances from the great Jazz Era (1920s to 1950s). Lindy Hop Our main form of Swing dance, popular from the 1930s to the 1950s. This can be slow and relaxing groovy dance or the world’s most energetic dance form. This dance is famous for its acrobatic movements, known as "air steps" and is sure to wow the audience. Photos » We have several Lindy routines, including: Music Box – a routine inspired by a music box scene and performed to "Organ Grinder Swing" featuring two Dolls and one Tin Soldier. Jam Circle – a routine set to "Jeep Jockey Jump" featuring 4 couples performing some unison movements but mostly featuring solo moments complete with exciting air steps and other tricks.
